DC Construction offers crack filling services that extend the life of your paved area while preventing additional costly repairs. Asphalt crack filling should be a regular part of your long-term pavement protection if you want to save money in the long run.
There are two types of crack filler: cold pour and hot pour. Cold pour is liquid based, pourable, and what we use to seal cracks as part of our standard sealing service. We use this to fill cracks up to ½”. Hot pour is used to fill larger cracks up to 1 ½”. This sealant is heated to 350 degrees before being applied directly to the cracks. Although no crack filler is permanent, hot pour is a longer-lasting product.
